The Saturday Morning 3rd & Curry St. Farmers Market is a local growers’ market, featuring fresh produce from Nevada Certified Farmers Market growers. the Market also offers a variety of fresh baked breads and pastries, cheeses, jams and honeys, house and garden plants, arranged planters, and numerous handmade arts & crafts. Unique food vendors also are a part of the Market, offering prepared foods and beverages.

Kids Activities
The Children’s Museum of Northern Nevada, Inc., is dedicated to providing education and entertainment – “edutainment” – to children and families in the greater Carson City community. Our museum provides exhibits and programs that focus on the Arts, Sciences, and Humanities. Our exhibits and programs are based on Nevada educational standards, current and historical culture, or kinetic movement; and entertain youth ages two to teen and their families. 813 N. Performing Arts
In the heart of Carson City located at 851 E. William St. the Carson City Community Center is easily accessible from Hwy 395, Hwy 50 and Roop St. and is comprised of a 10,000 square foot gymnasium, men’s and women’s locker rooms, a large classroom, a commercial kitchen, two meeting rooms, and the 803-seat Bob Boldrick theater. Carson City's premier literary, educational, visual & performing arts center. Founded in 1975, the Brewery Arts Center (BAC) is one of Greater Tahoe/Reno’s most active cultural centers. Located in the historic district in the foothills of Carson City, the BAC hosts over 100 events each year in multiple facilities. Events include theater productions, concerts, art classes, kid’s programs, recitals and receptions. The BAC operates Access Carson City Charter Cable Channels 10 and 26, the BAC Stage Kids, the Brewery Arts Center Summer Stock Theater, the Jazz and Beyond music festival, Concerts at the Brewery, Classes at the Brewery, and the Artisans’ Store. Wild Horse Productions, a non-profit organization, was formed to enhance and enrich our community through performing arts classes, high quality live theater, Outreach programs in the community, and other educational programs in the theatrical arts.

Proscenium Players, Inc. is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to presenting high quality community theater in Carson City. Organized in 1965, PPI is the second oldest continuously-operating theater company in Nevada. Over the years, our shows have been varied: drama; musicals; comedy; classical; improvisational; old favorites and avant-garde. Proscenium Players performs at the Brewery Arts Center.

Carson City Casinos
The Carson City Nugget has a great downtown location across the street from the Nevada State Museum and just steps from the State Capital and other government buildings. It's friendly service and fair values have made it a popular spot for both locals and tourists.
Gaming: Slots and table games (table limits from just $3), a non-smoking poker room, and a keno lounge.
Dining: Includes the Steakhouse (most entrees $15-25), a buffet, a 24-hour coffee shop (featuring a $5.95 prime rib dinner, $2 pancake breakfast, as well as other daily specials), and a snack bar.
Lodging: The Nugget's City Center Motel has 80 rooms. It is inexpensive.
Entertainment: Nightclub (open Thurs-Sat evening), plus live music nightly in the show lounge.
The Best Western Carson Station Hotel and Casino is just south of downtown.
Gaming: over 300 slot and video poker machines, 8 table games (including blackjack, craps and roulette), live keno, and a sportsbook.
Dining: The Station Restaurant opens at 6AM and features nightly dinner specials, The Station Grille also offers excellent value with nightly specials. Other eateries include the Pizzeria (pizza, wings, panini sandwiches, and more), and a snack bar (burgers sandwiches, drinks, and Mexican specialties).
Lodging: The Best Western has 90 comfortable and affordable rooms.
Entertainment: The Cabaret Lounger features live entertainment Tuesday thru Saturday evenings.
Casino Fandango is Carson City's newest casino. It is located at the south end of town and has a fun and lively tropical and neon theme. Fandango also has many bars and large screen televisions throughout the casino for enjoying sporting events (it's a great place for enjoying the NFL and other games).
Gaming: 700 slots and video poker machines, popular table games, a poker room, race and sports book, and keno.
Dining: Dick's Steakhouse, Rum Jungle Buffet, and Palm Court Grill (a 24-hour coffee shop).

The Gold Dust West, which has sister properties in downtown Reno and Elko, Nevada, was formerly known as Pinion Plaza. It is on the east side of town on highway US-50. It is a fairly new facility with an attached hotel, bowling center, and RV park.
Gaming: The casino runs numerous promotions and it includes 350 slots, table games (blackjack, craps, roulette, 3-card poker).
Dining: Includes the Coffee Shoppe (open 24 hours, with breakfast lunch and dinner specials), The Steakhouse, and a snack bar (in the bowling center).
Lodging: The 146 room hotel has an outdoor swimming pool, spa, fitness center, and business center. The RV park has 48 hook-up spaces.
Entertainment: Gold Dust West Carson City has a 32-lane bowling center and a sports bar.
