Frequently Asked Questions
What happens in case of inclement weather?
Operation of the Arlington Square Ice Rink is weather and ice condition dependent. The varied weather conditions we experience in Carson City such as sun, wind, rain and snow create challenges in keeping ice that is safe and suitable for skating at an outdoor rink. Please make sure to call the Arlington Square Ice Rink HOTLINE at 220-9555 prior to visiting the rink to ensure that it is open and operating.
Can I bring my own skates?
Yes you can, however, admission prices are the same. You will not have to pay the rental fee of $2.
Does the ice rink take credit cards?
We are unable to take debit/credit cards on site.
Do you have skates in all sizes?
The smallest skate we offer is a Toddler 9 in a Figure skate. The largest skate we offer is a size 14 in a Hockey skate.
We offer two kinds of skates, Figure skates and Hockey skates. The hockey skates are wider and tend to work better for those with a wide foot.
Do you offer Ice Skating Lessons?
Not at this time.
Are there group rates? Can I have a party?
